Color Stain Removal Treatment/Red Dye Removal
I have requested a Steam Doc technician to examine carpet or upholstery that has been damaged with a color dye. I acknowledge that the carpet, or upholstery in its stained condition, is of lessened value to me. It has also been explained to me by a Steam Doc technician that Red Dye Remover in most cases is an effective method of removing color stains caused by most food grade dyes.
There are variations in carpet and upholstery fabric and textile composition and that there are instances where color stains might not be removed and where discoloration and/or bleaching of the carpet or upholstery may occur. I also understand that it is impossible to test for or predetermine the result of the Red Dye Remover treatment.
With full knowledge of the above, I have requested the Steam Doc technician to treat my carpet or upholstery with Red Dye Remover in an attempt to remove the color stain. As there are variables beyond the control of Steam Doc and their technicians, I understand that Steam Doc disclaims any liability for damage caused to the carpet or upholstery as a result of the Red Dye removal treatment. I agree to hold Steam Doc harmless for any damage caused to my carpet or upholstery as a result of the Red Dye stain removal treatment.
Pet Urine Treatments.
I fully understand that my carpet or upholstery is currently damaged due to urine deposits. Because urine is a complex mixture of ingredients, I understand that undesirable results may occur in the form of slight carpet shrinkage, wicking, browning, yellowing and /or discoloration. I hereby authorize the Steam Doc technician to proceed with the Pet Urine Treatment. I agree to the stated price for the services rendered and understand that there is no guarantee implied or expressed that any or all urine odors, or stains will be removed.
Backing, lining, and other materials and processes used in the manufacture of upholstery may produce adverse results in the surface material when cleaned. There is no way of determining when such results will occur. The fabric may have previously experienced deterioration due to such factors as fading, shrinkage, dry-rotting, watermarking, browning or loss of tensile strength, prior use of cleaning agents and improper cleaning by other cleaners. Therefore, we as cleaners will not be responsible for any of the conditions listed above.
Spot and Stain Removal.
The client understands that variations in carpet, fabric and dye composition could potentially make it impossible for stains to be removed, consequently stain removal cannot be guaranteed. We will make every attempt possible to use the products designed for your stains at hand, but success is not always possible, and the customer understands this.
Colorfastness and Fading.
The customer will not hold the company responsible for color fading due to light, age, weak or deteriorated materials. If anyone in the home has used an over the counter spotter/stain remover such as Resolve, Nature's Miracle, Rug Doctor Shampoo, any pet treatment oxidizers, etc the customer must let us know so we can try and neutralize that cleaning solution and handle the treatment with professional cleaning solutions and extraction. There are no guarantees and permanent damage usually results from using OTC spotters.
Backing, lining and other materials and processes used in manufacturing carpeting and furniture may produce adverse results in the face material when cleaned, including shrinkage. There is no way of determining when such results will occur, the customer will not hold the company or its agents responsible for this adverse results unless caused by company negligence. Steam Doc is not liable if a seam opens due to excessive wear, customer neglect, improper carpet maintenance, or a bad installation.
Tile and Grout Cleaning.
Steam Doc, LLC. will not be liable for any invisible preexisting conditions including cracked, loose, or broken tile or grout caused by improper installation or age. The company will not be held responsible for the removal of pre-existing floor coatings including wax coatings, grout stain or efflorescence residue which may appear after cleaning, the company will not be responsible for certain heavy soiling due to prolonged absence of sealer which may have bonded to the tile and/or grout. Grout is a porous and can absorb stains, and not all stains can be removed from gout. Examples are hot liquids spilled onto the grout, acids, and reoccurring spills from soda, coffee, teas, etc.
Slips, Burns and Falls.
During and after the cleaning appointment, being that we use water, going from a damp carpet to a solid surface like linoleum, wood, laminate, tile, etc. will be extremely slippery and you need to exercise extreme caution when transitioning from flooring types until the carpet has completely dried. Our hoses also create a tripping hazard, and you the customer (the home or business owner) assume all the risk if anyone slips, trips, or falls due to our hoses. We strongly advise against any pet or person from being in an area we are cleaning until we are completely finished to avoid any possible slips, burns from hot hoses, or falling hazards. Steam Doc will not be held responsible for any injuries to a person or pet during a cleaning appointment due to slips, falls, or burns.
