Tile and Grout Cleaning

February 11, 2019

Cleaning your tile yourself can be a daunting task when you have to get down on your hands and knees to scrub it clean, if you can. Grout and natural stones are porous and can absorb grease, grime, liquids from drinks and spills that can stain it, allergens, dust mites, and more. If sounds like something you don't want to do, we would be happy to do the scrubbing for you. We also do not recommend

We do not advise adding a high gloss finish, sheen or polish to your tile, doing so can be extremely costly when you need a professional cleaning or maintenance and can require extensive stripping as time goes on. If you want a high gloss finish on your tile, it is best if you have natural stone and it would need to be honed and polished.

No gloss tile sealers and natural stone enhancers are what we recommend to use if you would like your tile or grout sealed. Sealing your tile and grout helps protect and elongate the life of the floor and grout from everyday foot traffic, spills and accidents.

At Steam Doc we utilize the proper cleaning techniques, along with the proper cleaning solutions for your tile at hand. We are more than happy to do an in-home evaluation and cleaning demonstration on your tile, simply call the office to setup the evaluation. After a cleaning, we educate you on your type of tile, grout and the best upkeep procedures after we are gone.
